**Perception** is a complex process in which the brain organizes and interprets raw sensory information to build a coherent and efficient model of the world around it. This system uses selective attention to separate essential data from a multitude of stimuli and enables conscious interaction with the environment by accurately locating and recognizing the identity of objects. One of the vital features of this process is the abstraction or simplification of details to increase processing speed and also to maintain the stability of features such as the size, shape, and color of objects in changing environmental conditions. Perception is the product of the constant interaction between sensory data and the individual's prior knowledge, which is processed in specialized parts of the brain, and its development from birth is rooted in the cooperation between innate abilities and experiences gained from motor activities and interaction with the environment.
